Lagundi is a common medicine shrub in the Philippines, and is found on Mt.Banahaw. The use of Lagundi for medicinal purposes has a long history in the Philippines. Today, pharmaceutical companies sell it in capsule form at drug stores. The root is reported to be tonic, febrifuge, and expectorant. The root is also used in a great variety of diseases: dyspepsia, colic, rheumatism, worms, boils, and leprosy. The flowers are used in diarrhea, cholera, fever, and diseases of the liver, and are also recommended as a cardiac tonic. The seeds make a cooling medicine for skin diseases and leprosy, and for inflammation of the mouth. The leaves are reported to be used for coughs and asthma.
we had a masseur woman who used to massage my baby because she is quite sickly nowadays and she is prone to fever,colds,cough and she even has an asthma. The masseur brought some lagundi leaves and she boiled it with water and she mix the boiled water with lagundi leaves on my baby's milk in her feeding bottle. she had finished 2 milk feeding bottles and i saw her improvement today that she had a great sleep and there's no more coughing and drying ive heard. i had also drink 1 cup of boiled lagundi leaves and i had farted several times and even burp a lot. i had able to let the bad air from my body that usually causes pains on my back and other parts of my body. this is indeed a miracle plant. i had tried lagundi tablet before but the natural and pure lagundi leaves is better.

Lagundi is truly a God-given medicine. B4, i used to suffer from asthma and other strange/weird debilitating illness. But when i started drinking lagundi leaf tea, the symptoms disappear. Sometimes the symptoms return but are easily cured with a cup of hot lagundi tea

I'm currently into Lagundi medication due to recurring ear/hearing problems caused by phlegm. Before, I took synthetic and expensive meds for the phlegm but the problems persist. Then, I started drinking tea from boiled Lagundi leaves, which was sent by my sister from Zamboanga Sibugay. I feel much much better, and my pocket is happier too ;)
